A Doolittle Day

I always have a few “good” books on the coffee table, that I rotate occasionally. When I was putting away my Christmas decorations I chose the book “Bev Doolittle New Magic”.  She is an artist who uses a technique that she refers to as camouflage technique.  She “hides” images in here paintings. She is of my favorite artists as her themes are of Native Americans, animals and landscapes.

When I was out taking photos while there was still some snow on the ground and trees covered with frozen fog, I though of some of her works.  I’m still trying to find hidden images in my photos.

One probably thought by the title of this post, that it was going to be a day that I was going to “do little”.  I had just received word the night before that I didn’t have to report for jury duty.  To celebrate – Wylie and I loaded up and went on a cold adventure.

These photos are just as nice as the previous batch. I must say, it’s far better to be out cruising the country with Wiley than to be sitting in a courthouse. I’m as willing as anyone to do my civic duty, but it does feel good when that “you’re not needed” message arrives and jury duty can be crossed off the to-do list.
