Enjoying Spring Before Winter Returns

Robin eggs

Mr. Farmer thought I needed something to do since I was going to be home a lot more than usual. He brought home 12 baby chicks. Oh boy Farm(er) Fresh Eggs again!!

Enjoying a lot of backroad walks. This photo looks about the same upside down.

Thankfully out winter weather didn’t last long.  We only received only a dusting of snow.

Yay for Mr Farmer! My Mr Farmer will have 12 baby chicks delivered in a few weeks. I am ready for fresh farm(er) eggs again. I’ve missed them!

It is always fun to have baby chicks! Glad you are starting a flock at your new home! I gave Wylie 3 chicks to babysit the other day. Was funny watching him trying to herd chickens. Didn’t go too well. Now I give him one to babysit and he just lays there watching it.
How’s little Riley? Would love to meet him!
      I miss you guys!

Riley is up to 5.5 lbs and 8 months old. He has such a different personality than Ragsy. We are loving this area. We will be glad when the home remodel is done. Hopefully everything will be done within the month. This is wine country. You guys should come for a visit! Miss you too!

He’s growing! So what is Riley’s personality like? Puppies are so adorable.
Is the remodeling extensive? Always fun to “live in” during remodeling. Such a mess, but so wonderful when it’s done.
Are you going to plant some grapes?
Would love to head out your way!!

What glorious photos – especially the one of the trees reflected in the creek. Robin’s egg blue may be one of the prettiest colors in the world, too. I laughed at your photo of the chick when I recognized the plant it was sitting in — henbit!

Won’t it be wonderful to get back to “normal”!

Henbit is such a pretty little plant I like it! I thought maybe the little hen would peck at it but she didn’t. Cant believe how fast they grow!! They do keep me and Wylie entertained. I also started taking online piano lessons. I bought a keyboard and it’s rather enjoyable. Surprising as I hated piano lessons when I was younger.
      Praying you are doing well.

I’m doing pretty well. My larder’s stocked, and I’m able to get out and work. I’ve lost a couple of jobs, which makes sense. When people are pinched, “boat maintenance” becomes a luxury, not a necessity. But so far, so good! On we go!
