It’s A Beautiful Day

It’s a beautiful autumn day. The kind of day for a ride on the backroads with your head out of the window!!

The milo is about ready for harvesting.

Favorite colors of autumn

Gorgeous sunrise on our morning walk.

It’s the season for pumpkin muffins!

Here is the website for the Pumpkin Crumb Cake Muffins recipe. Be sure to follow Sally’s Baking Addiction, she has great recipes, I use her site ALL the time.

Here I am, adding my voice to the chorus: I need the recipe for those muffins!

I wanted to come up to the midwest this fall, but my gracious — we’re almost to mid-October. We’re sitting here waiting for the fringe effects of yet another hurricane (Delta) and waiting even more eagerly for a little cool weather. The goldenrod’s finally starting to bloom, though, and last weekend we had our first good ground fog of the year. Your fog photo is marvelous! You do take the best walks!

I just added a link to the recipe!! I hope the link works!!! Haven’t done that too many times. The muffins are really good!!

We had some nice autumn weather for a few day, now it’s hot, windy and dry. Next week looks to be cooler. Could use some rain. Mr Farmer is spending a lot of time out in W KS, cutting corn and milo.

Thankful the hurricanes are east of you!!

The link worked perfectly! thanks so much! Since I’m mostly at home for a day or so, I may give them a try right away. They look even better split open!
