Mushroom Season

It’s that time of year, to go mushroom hunting.  There are numerous spots around Kansas that one can usually find some morels.  Although if you are like me, there are never enough.  I love morels!

Here are some mushrooms we have in Kansas, we even have a state park named after them!

Exploring Kansas

Kansas is such a beautiful and diversified state.  From the prairies and farmland to rolling hills and wooded areas, there is such beauty in our natural surroundings.  Wylie and I are taking trips around Kansas, we will be exploring areas off the beaten paths.
