The inside of those churches are just stunning!! I would’ve loved to meet the architect back in that day and actually see how they put that building together. Those arches!! Thanks for taking me to church.
When I first saw this church I thought, I’ve been here before. But I hadn’t This church is SO much like the church at Dubuque (which is no longer offering mass). They are such beautiful churches, certainly don’t build them like that anymore!
I especially like that deep blue robe that Mary’s wearing, and the way they’ve matched the candle holders to it. Usually, I see red candles, but this is different, and beautiful.

I thought it was intriguing that the plaque on the church said Nazareth, Kans. That was also the name of the cemetery. There is actually no Nazareth, Kansas. A priest tried unsuccessfully to change the name of the town Odin to Nazareth.
i have read that the postmaster changed the name of the town from Nazareth to Odin. Thank you for the beautiful pictures of the church I was raised in.
