Happy Spring

Such a beautiful start to Spring. Warm temperatures in the 70. It’s too bad that it’s not going stay that way. Roads are closing out in Western Kansas because of blizzard conditions. We are not to get snow, we will have below freezing temperatures.

The morning started out with rain and as the clouds broke up there were numerous rainbows. Full rainbows, half ones and just pieces of rainbows. (It was really quite amazing, wished I had taken photos of each one I saw.)   I always feel blessed when I see a rainbow and to see so many today I felt hopeful.

Wylie and I certainly enjoy our walks. It’s so peaceful and all seems right with the world. It’s wonderful to see trees starting to bud out, beautiful green wheat fields and so many little baby calves. I hope you are able to find peace and hope in these uncertain times. Take care. Blessing to you and yours.

Both photos are so wonderful. At first I was surprised to read about snow and cold weather there, and then I remembered: it is still March! I hope whatever weather nastiness comes your way is short-lived, and you can get back to enjoying spring again.

Spring is here in full force. These photos are from March 7, and I’m so glad I had a day to find them. I’d been planning to travel on one more weekend to track the flowers, but that’s not possible now. I do hope we can get the virus under control sooner rather than later, and return to something resembling normal. There is a lot of uncertainty, as well as fear. We’re going to have to pull together as a country and set aside a lot of disagreements.
