    Your first photo of the maize field made me laugh. One of my best Kansas stories, that hasn’t yet been written, involves a maize field, a hidden grave site, and a near disaster. I ought to get out those photos and get that written! I enlarged the third photo to count leaves; that looks like Virginia Creeper, and the one right below it looks like sumac. You’re right — you have had a beautiful fall!
