Goodbye August

Finally the hot dry days of August are behind us. It’s okay that August went fast – it was too hot! Cooler days and nights in the 60’s, a good time to drive up to Bennington Lake for walking and day camping.

Leaves are starting to turn red and yellow. Sumac and probably poison ivy.

Me and my shadow. Wylie is such a wonderful companion.

Early morning walk in the moonshine from the super blue moon with Venus rising.

I have season envy! But, I’ll spare you my complaints, and instead mention that there’s a chance we’ll drop to 78 for a low tonight, and there’s a 40% chance of rain tomorrow and Monday. Hallelujah! But the days are getting shorter, so at least we have that. Love the sumac, and that ‘moonshine’ photo is marvelous!

Yes I definitely like the changes of seasons. Now we’re back to summer!! Hopefully the 40% will bring you some relief.
Goodness the moonshine from the super blue moon was bright!! It was nice to have some light when we walked. It is so dark in the mornings.
I was forced into using the JetPack, don’t know why WordPress likes to change things!!!
Always wonderful hearing from you! Thanks
