It’s a beautiful sunset, and heaven knows you deserve some kind of reward after a day like that. Were those southerly winds, by any chance? Do you have a front on the way? Or was it just Kansas being Kansas? I ran into a day like that out around Sublette, when the wind was from the north. I stopped to get a Coke, and barely could open the car door!
That was a hot south wind. Didn’t take long for it to dry up our 1/4” of rain. We had such a beautiful cool August, now a hot September. I have to hold on tight to Wylie on day like that. More wind and heat in the forecast for the days ahead. I’m ready for autumn 🍂
