Wylie is 2,556 days old.  He turned 7 today.  Happy Birthday Wylie!!!

I made his 2 layer “cake” out of elk, peas, carrots, spinach and brown rice, “frosted” with mashed potatoes.  I served it on a cherished cake stand that was my mother’s.

    I forgot to mention that your mother’s cake stand looks like it might be the Candlewick pattern. My mother had some serving dishes in that pattern, along with some plates, cups, and saucers. They’re gone now — I couldn’t keep everything, since she was quite a collector. But it is beautiful — even if it’s a different pattern.

    And that’s one handsome dog!

      Along with the cake stand there are lots of little cups and saucers and different desert bowls and plates. Quite a few pieces that are just boxed up, except for the cake stand.
      Wylie enjoyed his birthday, believe me he knows it’s all about him!!
