    Oh, my gosh! The good news is that this probably will melt off and give you a nice Indian summer — or so I hope. It’s way too early for this to stay. On the other hand, I just looked at the forecast for my aunt in KC, and it’s looking a little frosty up there! There’s nothing like a little frost on the pumpkin to add to the fall feeling — but snow? Not so much.

      It’s true that if you don’t like the weather in Kansas, just wait a day. It changes, and it certainly did. We had a wonderful afternoon, hiking, cleaning a flower bed and steaks on the grill.
